Hello My Name Is...

Ella Livingston

Mrs. Livingston was born in Ghana and has lived and traveled to various countries abroad. Her global perspective can been seen in her classroom as well as within her lessons. She graduated from Spelman College with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Japan Studies in 2015. She was then recruited by Project Inspire, a teaching residency in Chattanooga, and completed her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on secondary math with Tennessee Technological University in 2016. She has been a teacher with Hamilton county for three years and is currently teaching Algebra 1 at OHS. In all of her lessons Mrs. Livingston's goal is to bring to her students math content that is relatable, relevant and accessible; all while keeping the cognitive level high.
