Hello! My name is Kyndall Vaughn, and I'm thrilled to say this is my sixth year teaching high school English. I grew up in Chattanooga, attended Hamilton County schools, and graduated college locally at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education of English degree in 2016, and in 2021, I earned a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Western Governors University.
I began my teaching career in the Catoosa County School System. I did an interim position for one semester at a high school there before coming to Ooltewah High School.
This year, I teach AP Language, AP Literature, and English 11. Additionally, I am the sponsor for our school's National Beta Club, the host of the school's Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA), and running the club for musical theatre.
Currently, I live in Chattanooga with my dog, Gage. He's nine and perfect.
I enjoy traveling to see Broadway musicals, cooking, trying new restaurants, and taking my dog to local dog parks.
