Hello! My name is Kyndall Vaughn, and I'm thrilled to say this is my fourth year teaching high school English. I grew up in Chattanooga, attended Hamilton County schools, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education of English degree from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2016. I'm currently in a graduate program for Curriculum & Instruction at Western Governors University.
I began my teaching career in the Catoosa County School System. I did an interim position for one semester at a high school there before coming to Ooltewah High School.
This year, I teach AP Language, AP Literature, and English 11. Additionally, I am the sponsor for our school's National Beta Club and the host of the school's Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA).
Currently, I live in Chattanooga with my dog, Gage. He's seven and perfect.
I enjoy traveling to see Broadway musicals, cooking, trying new restaurants, and taking my dog to local dog parks.
